I want patients or customers, when they walk in, to be very excited that they’re at Gage or at Central Ave. They’re going to be greeted with a smile, welcomed right away. Then, once they are let into the store, they’re welcomed by one of our wonderful DAs that will be there to help them answer any questions that they may have.

The first time somebody, whether it’s a patient or customer, visits either of our dispensaries, I really want them to feel welcome. It can still be a very nerve-wracking experience for people on their first visit. A lot of people still don’t know what to expect and think that it’s going to feel like they’re executing some kind of drug deal that they shouldn’t be doing.

So, I really appreciate when somebody takes that first step through the threshold and they understand that it’s a warm and welcoming professional environment and a shopping experience just like going to any other shop. Curating a space that normalizes this experience is vital to reducing the stigma. And what better way than to create just a welcoming, interesting, fun environment.

You know, you’re greeted by the most beautiful faces when you come in. You make friends with our budtenders. You’re coming in to a store.
