Medical Cannabis Guidance for Groton Patients
Starting medical cannabis can raise a lot of questions: which products to try, how much to take, and what to expect. At Central Ave Compassionate Care, under 10 minutes from Groton, our staff spends time with every patient to answer those questions before you buy anything.
If you’re still working on your card, our guide on how to become a medical patient in Massachusetts covers each step, and you can browse our menu anytime to see what’s available.
What to Expect on Your First Visit
If you’ve never been to a medical dispensary, here’s how a first visit to Central Ave usually goes.
Before you leave Groton
Fill out our new patient form online so we have your details ready. Bring your Massachusetts medical cannabis registration and a valid government-issued photo ID.
When you arrive
Our staff will check your registration and ID, then take a few minutes to learn what you’re hoping cannabis can help with. There’s no pressure to buy anything until your questions are answered.
Choosing your products
We’ll walk you through the options, from flower and pre-rolls to edibles, tinctures, and topicals, and explain how each one works, how long it takes to feel effects, and how to start with a low dose. Ask about Central Harvest, our own small-batch flower grown here in Ayer.
The savings that come with your card
As a registered patient, you won’t pay the sales and excise taxes charged at recreational stores, you can buy more at one time, and our $100 Patient Refund Card helps cover the cost of getting certified.
