Hello everyone, I’m Amanda over at Central Ave and I’m here to talk to you about RSO. RSO is short for Rick Simpson Oil. Rick Simpson is a gentleman that has discovered this oil. RSO is made by washing the cannabis with a solvent and then boiling the solvent off, which then leaves the oil behind.
This oil Rick Simpson discovered was great for his cancer, the melanoma that he had on his skin. He noticed that when he put it on there, it started to dissipate within a few days.
Many people with pain and cancer tend to find RSO to be very helpful for them, it tends to take the edge off and make them feel like they can move around a lot better.
Many products contain RSO. Made by Cannatini are some RSO gummies. We have an indica or a sativa as well. You can also find it in capsule form made by 1906, which just makes it a lot easier to ingest. We also have them in higher dose gummies which are 25mg per [serving]. This is very helpful for people that are really suffering with pain.
The main way to take it that most do is through a syringe. You would only need a rice size [amount]. You could put it on the tip of a toothpick or you can put it in your own capsule as well. So the RSO syringe you can use that ingested or you can use it on your skin as a topical as well. It does help very much. The onset of taking it through a syringe would probably be within one to two hours, you would start to feel the effects of the RSO. With the gummies, I would say within 30 minutes to an hour you would start to feel the effects.
