Ever had a vape stop working or just taste a little off, and you’re not sure why? A lot of the time, it just comes down to simple battery care. Today, we’re going to walk through how to clean, maintain, and properly charge your vaporizer battery so that it works the way it’s supposed to.

I’m Sara from Central Ave Compassionate Care, and we’re here to help you feel comfortable and confident with all of your wellness tools.

So, why does battery care matter? Keeping your battery clean and charged properly can help with better performance, more consistent vapor, fewer connection issues, and a longer lifespan for your battery. The good news? It’s really easy.

So, how do you clean your vape battery? First, you want to make sure that your battery is off and not charging at all. You will need a cotton swab and isopropyl alcohol. Or, if you come visit us at Central Ave, we have this product called Crud Bud, and it is pre-soaked alcohol swabs.

What you’re going to do is gently clean the connection where the vaporizer attaches to the battery. This area can collect residue over time, which will affect the airflow and battery power. You need to make sure that you let it dry fully before you reconnect anything to the battery.

Here are the best practices for charging your battery. You want to use the charger that your battery comes with. You really want to avoid overcharging or rapid charging your vape. Once it’s done charging, remove it from the connection so that it doesn’t burn out.

And lastly, don’t leave it charging overnight. If your battery ever feels hot while you’re charging it, remove it from the connection and let it cool.

A little maintenance goes a long way. If you’re ever unsure about your device or something doesn’t feel right, our team is always happy to walk you through it in person. Stop by Central Ave, and we’ll help you find what works best for you.
