Vaping vs. Smoking Cannabis: Which is Right For You?

Vaping vs smoking cannabis

When it comes to consuming cannabis, two of the most popular methods are vaping and smoking — but what’s the real difference between them? In this video, Sara from Central Ave Compassionate Care in Ayer, Massachusetts, breaks down how each option affects potency, experience, and convenience to help you make an informed choice.

Vaping offers higher THC concentrations, typically ranging from 70–90%, making it a more potent and discreet option with less odor and fewer accessories. On the other hand, smoking cannabis flower delivers a full-spectrum experience, offering natural flavors and the familiar ritual many patients and consumers enjoy.

Whether you’re drawn to the convenience and control of vaping or the rich, flavorful experience of smoking, understanding the pros and cons of each can help you choose what best fits your lifestyle and wellness goals.

Hi guys, this is Sara from Central Ave, and today we’re going to talk about vaping and smoking and which one might be best for you.

The big difference between vaping and smoking is the concentrated THC amount that you  are getting.

When you buy a vape cart, typically, you’re going to find between 70 to 90% THC, whereas in flower, you get between 20 to the high side of 40%.

When you do get the higher concentrated amounts of THC, there could be slight effects of higher anxiety, more dry mouth, more red eye, and things like that.

But if you’re used to that concentrated amount, then  vaping might be the way to go.

When it comes to the convenience factor, a lot of time vaping is the benefit. You do get less smoke, less smell, and less product to use. You don’t need a grinder,  you don’t need a bowl, you don’t need a lighter, you don’t need any of that. You just need a vape  cartridge and a battery, and you can just throw it in your pocket, you can bring it wherever you’d like.
