Timing is super important for us here at Central Harvest, and what that means is we want to dry everything for the perfect amount of time, cure everything for the perfect amount of time, and then turn things around and get the flower into our customers hands when it’s really reached that ideal state.
So it’s important to us that our customers are only getting the freshest flower possible because freshness really matters.
It enhances the experience, it preserves the terpenes, and it really leads to an overall better end-product.
So we do that with each batch individually, we dry everything really slowly over 7 to 10 days, sometimes as much as 14 days.
As soon as our plants come out of the drying room, they get broken down immediately and they go right into our curing containers.
Our team does a really nice job day-by-day to monitor each batch.
Usually it takes us about 3 to 4 weeks to wrap up the curing process, sometimes a little bit longer, but we don’t move to testing until it really reaches that ideal state.
Once each batch reaches that freshness state we send send it to the lab, and as soon as I
get those results back in my hands, we turn around and we package the flower as quickly as possible, because we really want to get it into people’s hands when it’s in that peak freshness state.
We don’t want people getting flower that’s old and stale that’s been sitting on the shelves for a couple of weeks, or was tested three, or four, or six months ago. We know nobody wants that, and we certainly hear you. So it’s really important to us that we keep things as relevant as possible.
We want you to know what the harvest dates are, the testing dates, the package dates so that when you take our flower home, you can be confident that you’re getting something you know exactly what it is and you know that it’s at that freshness peak.
Our team is extremely proud of the batches that we’re turning out.
The freshness in our flower is something you really should be able to taste the difference. You should be able to smell the difference – as soon as you open up that jar, or bag, or whatever you’re taking home, the terpenes should be preserved perfectly in there, and it really should be just a next-level experience all the way around.
